| We were really pleased with the accommodations available to us at the
Best Western Northgate. We have blocked the entire hotel on Friday, May 12
and Saturday, May 13, 2006. There are only 63 rooms available so make your
reservation early. In the event, all rooms are taken, there are many other
rooms nearby. There is also a KOA next door. Room Rates (Available Monday,
May 8, 2006 to Saturday, May 13, 2006):
- You must call the hotel directly to get these rates. Do not call the
Best Western Reservation Line.
- You must indicate that you are with the MTF.
- You must reserve the room with your personal credit card.
- All rooms will be open to the public March 12, 2006 so you want to
definitely make your reservation before then.
- All rates are plus 13% tax.

- There are only six of these rooms. Better hurry.

We have reserved a meeting room in the hotel for our festivities. The
Texas side of Texarkana is a dry county. However, you can walk across the
street to purchase your favorite adult beverage or there is a bar in the
hotel that opens at 5:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. You can find more

The website says that there is dining on the premises. The dining room is
closed but there are many restaurants in the area. |
We were not able to work out any kind of special deal but for those that
want to camp, there is a KOA right next door to the host hotel.
