From: 011wizard Well the Coast2Coast ride is in the history books! First things first ? A HUGE thanks to Al & Debbie for putting this ride together! They both worked countless hours getting things arranged. If you were there - you know how fantastic the ride was. 1) The route?Al has an incredible knack for digging up little known Florida roads and stringing them together. Our route sheet was filled on both sides with about 50 turns we had to find. I assure you ? nobody made it without missing a few turns here and there. I made more than my share of u-turns. We saw all manner of Florida side roads?especially those still effected by hurricane damage. The start point was a scenic park on the Gulf and the finish was awesome as well, Corbin?s! Right on Main Street in Daytona. Very cool! 2) The prizes?Al/Debbie ? you guys went over the top! The grand prize was a $300 gift certificate from Corbin?s for a custom MC seat. To my total shock and disbelief, my wife?s ticket was the winning one. EVERYBODY won prizes, including items like HD stuff, gift cards from Cracker Barrel, t-shirts and very cool custom mugs from that famous NASCAR guy with the ?3? on the car. 3) The people?Like almost every MC event I choose to ride in, I almost always come away with a new friend or two. After the ride, my wife and I were about to ride off to dinner by ourselves. We met up with Al/Debbie and Larry/Karen Goodwin. Well the six of us headed to ?The Wreck? on Main Street and had ourselves a wonderful after ride dinner. And hats off to the ?long distance rider? trophy winner (Sunrunner), who rode all the way from Birmingham, AL. to the start/sign=up point, 470 miles I think it was. So, next time when Al puts this one together, make sure you don?t miss out. This is one ride you don?t want to miss! It was a great ride for a great cause. And besides, you get like a zillion doughnuts to eat as well. I ate WAY too many doughnuts!

From: Sunrunner (exyuppie) 10/3/2004 8:36pm Al, thanks for a great time. For all of you that did not go, Al took across the state of Florida from Tarpon Springs to Daytona. It was a very beautiful route that took us through the prettiest area you could image. I did not know Florida had that type of curves. Thanks again.
George?Birmingham, AL.
From: aaarv 10/3/2004 9:57pm We could not have had a better weekend if we had planned it. Al & Debbie please do it again. We had a lot of miles of great riding through central Florida. Thanks again Al & Debbie.
Larry & Karen Goodwing?Inverness, FL. Review of Florida Coast2Coast Ride II Route
From: FroggiDonna (FrogBiker) I spent a couple of days in the Tampa Bay area this week and Cruzn'AL was kind enough to escort me through a major portion of the route. We rode the first day and drove the second (over 8" of rain in less than 12 hours). Let me tell you. If you can make the ride - DO! You will not be disappointed. Think Florida has no curvy roads? Think it all looks the same? Think you can't get lost? Time to get rid of any preconceived notions. This ride has it all - curves, lakes, tree arbors, beautiful scenery, constantly changing road conditions and more. So, put it on your calendar and discover the Florida you did not know existed!
